How much dried lavender do I need for my project?

Dried lavender for making bags

One large handful of dried lavender is about 20g, so a bag about the size of your palm (say 10x12cm) will take about 20g. We recommend using the fragrant dried lavender for this purpose rather than the blue (and it is cheaper!).

One of our 6x6cm mini organza bags takes about 8g of lavender, and the 6x8cm cotton pouch takes roughly 10g.

Dried lavender for weddings

One large handful of dried lavender is about 20g, so to throw as confetti you would need about this much per person. Unless you have a dark blue colour scheme we again recommend the fragrant dried lavender as the colour is less strident.
